IB Math Applications & Interpretation Tutoring
Personalised HL & SL support for Hong Kong students. Master statistics, modelling, and real-world problem solving with tutors who know the AI syllabus inside out.
IB Mathematics Applications and Interpretation (AI) is designed for students who want to use mathematics to describe, model, and solve real-world problems. The course emphasises statistics, mathematical modelling, and the practical use of technology — making it ideal for students heading into business, social sciences, medicine, psychology, or design.
Both SL and HL are fully supported. If your child finds the abstract, proof-heavy side of maths challenging but thrives with data and real contexts, AI is likely the right fit — and our tutors will help them achieve their best possible grade.

What Our IB Families Say
Francky is an outstanding maths tutor. He explains things clearly and concisely and when Imogen is confused and uncertain about anything taught at school, he is able to clarify any issues immediately. He is also caring and supportive and goes the extra mile all the time. Francky is one of the best tutors Imogen has ever had.
Cameron enjoys his lessons with Francky. Francky is very good at explaining difficult math concepts making it easy to understand. He teaches helpful ways to solve problems by showing shortcuts or simplifications. Cameron has become more confident in his math abilities. The lessons have been a tremendous help.

Frequently Asked Questions
Not necessarily — it's different. AI focuses on applied maths and statistics rather than abstract proof and calculus. Students who are naturally drawn to data, patterns, and real-world contexts often find AI more intuitive and engaging, while others who prefer pure maths may find AA more straightforward.
Most university programmes accept AI, but some STEM courses (engineering, physics, mathematics) specifically require AA. In our consultation, we'll help you check requirements for your target universities to make sure you're on the right track.
Most AI students have 1–2 sessions per week. During IA preparation or before exams, some add an extra session. We'll tailor the schedule to your child's needs and goals.
Both. Our centre is in Wan Chai, and we also offer fully interactive online sessions via video call with a shared whiteboard. Many families use a mix of both.
