ACT Math Tutoring in Hong Kong

Strategic ACT Math preparation that delivers results. Our students consistently achieve 30+ composite scores, with many reaching 34–36 on the Math section.

15+ Years Average 30+ Math Score 10,000+ Students

The ACT Math section is one of four scored sections on the ACT and is a major factor in university admissions for US colleges. Unlike the SAT, the ACT Math section covers a broader range of topics — including trigonometry and some pre-calculus concepts — and all 60 questions must be answered in 60 minutes.

Our Hong Kong-based tutors specialise in ACT-specific strategies that go beyond content knowledge. The ACT rewards speed, pattern recognition, and efficient problem-solving. We teach students to identify question types quickly, use shortcuts where possible, and manage time so they can attempt every question with confidence.

What We Help You Master

Full coverage of all six ACT Math content areas, plus the speed and strategy skills that separate good scores from great ones.

Pre-Algebra & Arithmetic
Number properties, fractions, decimals, percentages, ratios, and basic operations — the straightforward questions that build your score foundation.
Algebra & Functions
Linear and quadratic equations, systems of equations, inequalities, functions, and logarithms — the largest category on the ACT Math section.
Geometry
Plane geometry (angles, triangles, circles, polygons) and coordinate geometry — roughly a third of all questions and a frequent area for improvement.
Trigonometry
Trig ratios, identities, the unit circle, and graphing trig functions — a section unique to the ACT that many students haven't fully covered in school.
Statistics & Probability
Mean, median, mode, probability, combinations, and data interpretation — straightforward questions that well-prepared students should get right every time.
Pacing & Strategy
60 questions in 60 minutes demands strong pacing. We teach question triage, smart skipping, calculator shortcuts, and strategies for the hardest questions.

What Our Families Say

This centre helped me tons for about 4 years of my academic years. They provided support in a variety of subjects. I am very satisfied with all of the tutors who work there, as they are all very understanding and good at explaining the target subject. I saw improvement in most of the subjects and I am very content to continue with what I learned.

Frequently Asked Questions

Both are accepted equally by US universities. The ACT tends to suit students who are fast, confident across a broad range of topics, and prefer all-multiple-choice format. The SAT suits students who prefer fewer questions with more time to think. We recommend taking a practice test of each to see which feels more natural — we can arrange both.

8–12 weeks with 1–2 sessions per week is typical for meaningful score improvement. Students with significant content gaps (especially in trigonometry or geometry) may benefit from a longer programme. We'll give you an honest timeline after the diagnostic test.

Our core expertise is ACT Math, which is where we deliver the strongest results. For Science, English, and Reading support, we can discuss options during your consultation. The ACT Science section is actually more about data interpretation than science knowledge, so our analytical approach can help there too.

Both. Our centre is in Wan Chai, and we also offer fully interactive online sessions via video call with a shared whiteboard. Many families use a mix of both.
